Redundant Controllers for Critical Infrastructure
Bachmann electronic’s Smart Power Plant Controller (SPPC) now features advanced redundancy functions designed to boost the reliability of critical power plants worldwide.
A Smarter Controller for Tomorrow’s Energy Infrastructure
To meet the demanding reliability needs of critical infrastructure, Bachmann electronic has introduced a redundancy extension for its Smart Power Plant Controller (SPPC). This includes network and grid measurement redundancy as well as hot standby switching, allowing automatic switchover in case of failure. The SPPC is already deployed in hundreds of energy parks globally, equipped with certified software, flexible architecture, and remote visualization capabilities.
Remote Visualization and Redundancy Deployment
The SPPC includes a browser-based visualization interface that allows access from any location. It supports the display of system topologies, signal flows, and diagrams, and allows setting of target values.

Built-in Redundancy
The SPPC now includes both network and grid measurement redundancy using the GMP232 module. Components like sensors, servers, and power supplies are fully backed up for uninterrupted operation.
Flexible & Certified
With certified software and a hybrid PGS controller, the SPPC supports diverse topologies, cascading, and communication interfaces.
Remote Monitoring
A web-based visualization system enables full plant monitoring, signal flow display, and parameter adjustments from any location.
