EV charge point operator Zero 60™ has launched its first four fully-renewable EV charging stations in New York. Multiple charging stalls had previously been installed at a site in Anaheim, California.
The company was founded by Faith Technologies Incorporated™ (FTI), a leader in distributed energy and eMobility charging solutions.
Zero 60 specializes in delivering sustainable, reliable, and accessible EV charging solutions at high-traffic locations like quick-service restaurants, hotels, and retail stores. Its current installations can be found at In-N-Out Burger, Denny’s, Cambria Hotel, and Crowne Plaza locations.
Each charge is powered completely by renewable energy, either via the purchase of renewable energy certificates (RECs) or on-site renewable generation, offering an industry-leading 97% uptime.
Zero 60 now has four live charging sites in New York and one in California, with plans to install approximately 50 more across the country. They will be built in New York, California, Colorado, and Wisconsin before moving to other states throughout the U.S.
“Zero 60 is committed to accessible, sustainable charging, taking EV drivers from zero to 60 with zero emissions,” said Wade Leipold, executive vice president of FTI, in a statement. “Our EV charging stations aim to provide reliable, secure and consistent EV charging services in safe, convenient and welcoming locations.”
