Past Solar Games

The fourth annual tournament tasked installer teams with building on- and off-grid residential solar and storage systems using components generously donated by sponsors Electriq Power, GME Supply Co, K2 Systems, LONGi, Milwaukee Tool, Rolls Battery Engineering, Roof Tech, SolaDeck, and Victron Energy. Returning champion Aloha Solar Power successfully defended its title, winning the 2024 Solar Games and taking home a $10,000 cash prize. Michigan Solar Solutions took second place, receiving $3,500, and Huston Solar took third, receiving $2,500. Equipment was donated to Twende Solar, a nonprofit that empowers under-resourced communities with renewable energy systems.
