Larry Sherwood

Larry Sherwood is the President and CEO of the Interstate Renewable Energy Council and has over 45 years of experience with renewable energy non-profits. At IREC, he works with the board of directors and staff to strategically work to build the foundation for clean energy and energy efficiency to benefit people, the economy and our planet. Mr. Sherwood previously served as CEO of the Small Wind Certification Council, the American Solar Energy Society and the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association and also as the Administrator for the Solar America Board for Codes and Standards. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and lives in a PV-powered house in Colorado.
