Daniel has been with Arizona Public Service for over 4 years as their BESS SME and technical advisor on utility scale renewable projects. Along with other industry experts, he led the development of APS’s BESS safety standards after the McMicken battery explosion. Previously he spent 10 years at Burns & McDonnell specifying, designing and commissioning both thermal and renewable generation plants. Daniel participates in, and contributes to, industry groups and standards bodies and he is a registered electrical engineer in the state of Arizona.
