Thomas Gösswein

Thomas Goesswein is the CEO of Fenecon Inc., the first international subsidiary of Fenecon International, based in Greenville, South Carolina. Fenecon Inc. focuses on developing and scaling industrial battery storage solutions, ranging from large-scale energy storage systems to flexible applications, utilizing upcycled OEM battery modules. Powered by a highly adaptable open-source energy management system, Fenecon provides storage solutions designed to meet the needs of a decentralized and sustainable energy market.

Sustainability is at the core of Fenecon’s DNA. By repurposing EV battery modules from the automotive industry, Fenecon creates exceptionally durable storage products, advancing circular economy principles within the energy sector. What began in Bavaria with the first CarBatteryReFactory is now expanding to the U.S., continuing the company’s vision of delivering sustainable and high-performance energy storage solutions.

Before joining Fenecon, Thomas held executive and leadership roles in the building materials industry, specializing in internationalization and business development. Prior to that, he gained extensive experience in the traditional energy sector. His career started as an officer in the German Armed Forces, where he developed strategic and organizational skills that now support his role in driving Fenecon’s expansion in North America.

He holds a degree in Business and Organizational Sciences from the University of the German Armed Forces in Munich.
