Michael has been working with EDF Renewables and PowerFlex since 2013, developing relationships and onsite clean energy solutions with public and private sectors. After receiving an International MBA from University of San Diego, Michael joined EDF-R’s Government Energy Solutions group where he worked primarily with the Department of Defense developing holistic energy solutions to increase renewable penetration and resilient microgrid solutions on base. Now as Director of Strategic Market Development and Microgrids at PowerFlex, a subsidiary of EDF Renewables, Michael focuses on resilient Storage, Solar, and Smart EV Charging solutions that can be integrated with Microgrid controls and infrastructure for facilities and campuses looking to take control of their energy costs, increase sustainability, while providing back up power. Michael’s passion for the energy sector goes outside of the office where Michael was as a founding board member and Co-President of San Diego’s chapter of the Young Professionals in Energy (YPE).
