Joel joined Enchanted Rock, a leader in resiliency microgrids, in 2020 and leads the company’s energy policy efforts. Joel is engaged in advocacy at the state and federal levels promoting policies that improve air emissions, enhance grid reliability and resilience, and level the playing field for distributed energy resources and microgrids. Prior to Enchanted Rock, Joel spent over ten years with ConEdison—first in Electric Operations, overseeing underground network construction, operations, and maintenance, and then in Energy Policy & Regulatory Affairs, engaging on a range of issues including wholesale market design, transmission planning and interconnection, cybersecurity policy, and natural gas pipelines.
Joel holds a Master of Business Administration from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University and a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Columbia University.
