Joanna Hamblin is a climate tech marketing leader and consultant who’s worked with some of the biggest names in the clean energy startup landscape over the past 15 years. Joanna’s work has been published in EnergyTech, Automotive Fleet, Green Living Magazine and Edible Boston.
She currently serves as Senior Marketing Consultant at Iron Core Marketing, a niche marketing consultancy that offers marketing consulting and fractional leadership for climate tech startups so they can identify and launch the highest-value marketing projects faster.
Previously, she led the initiative to launch a new branding and digital presence for Distributed Sun and its subsidiary truCurrent, a microgid, mobility and virtual power company. She also led the NAM eMobility Marketing for Schneider Electric, where she defined the application roadmap, marketing strategy and execution plan for a holistic, end-to-end hardware, software and app offering for residential, building and fleet segments. While at Motiv Electric Trucks, Joanna was responsible for all aspects of marketing and launching of Motiv Energy, a new solution for fleets that delivered scalable charging infrastructure and asset monetization. Prior to joining Motiv, Joanna was the Head of Marketing at FreeWire Technologies, where she implemented effective programs encompassing product, marketing, sales enablement, demand generation, PR, content, events, and social media. Joanna was also instrumental in launching, elevating, and scaling marketing efforts at Power Standards Lab, Gridco Systems, and Ambient Corporation.
Joanna has a certificate in Executive Education for Sustainability Leadership Program at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Joanna also holds a Master of Liberal Arts in Sustainability and Environmental Management, from Harvard University Extension School, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance from Northeastern University. Joanna is fluent in English and Polish.
