Andrew is the Deputy Director of the ERCOT Independent Market Monitor at Potomac Economics where he leads a team of analysts responsible for investigating market behavior and recommending improvements to ERCOT market design. He started his career in ERCOT market operations and subsequently worked in commercial analysis for RWE, a renewable and energy storage developer, and in regulatory affairs for Lancium, a large flexible load operator. He has a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin where he was advised by Dr. Michael Webber.
