Amy Heart

Amy Heart is Senior Vice President of Public Policy with Sunrun. Sunrun is the nation’s leading provider of residential solar and battery solutions, with nearly 1 million customers across the U.S. Amy Heart leads Sunrun’s policy team, working to protect and expand access to home solar and battery solutions, and developing policies to leverage these solutions to help our overall grid. Amy serves on the Public Utility Commission of Texas Aggregated DER Task Force, and serves on the boards for Texas Solar Power Association and the national Solar Energy Industries Association. Amy has been advocating for people-centered, clean energy solutions for 20 years. Prior to joining Sunrun’s policy team in 2014, Amy worked to deploy solar solutions with the City of Milwaukee and the Midwest Renewable Energy Association. Amy Heart received her law degree from Marquette University Law School.
