With almost two decades of experience in the clean energy industry, Alison leads PowerFlex’s Vehicle-to-Everything and Grid Services offerings. She has an extensive background in electricity market designs for renewable energy, storage resources, and deployment of emerging Vehicle-to-Grid technologies across the U.S. and Canada.
Prior to joining PowerFlex, Alison worked as a Senior Business Development Manager at Stem Inc. where she developed the business plan for and managed expansion into new markets for both front-of-meter and behind-the-meter energy storage and storage-plus-solar projects. She also worked as Manager of Markets at Power Advisory LLC, a Toronto and Boston-based energy consulting company, where she acted for over 40 electricity generators, energy storage and distributed resources, industry associations, and utilities within North America. Earlier in her career, Alison held roles at the Ontario Power Authority and Independent Electricity System Operator, where she was responsible for ensuring that electricity market rules accommodated renewable power purchase agreements (PPAs), and was an integral part of renegotiating over 3,800 MW of wind and solar PPAs.
Alison has a degree in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from Western University and received her professional engineering designation in 2014.
