The Installer-Contractor Continuing Ed Technical Workshops provide an indepth look at 6 different renewable energy products. NABCEP Board Certified Professionals will advance their professional development and earn CEUs pre-approved to meet NABCEP recertification requirements. A total of 6 non-concurrent training sessions will cover Battery-Based System Sizing, to Structural Solutions For Solar on Flat Roofs, Large Scale Commercial Design, Rapid Shutdown and Financial Modeling. A total of 9 advanced-level CEUs are available. Lunch is included on Monday and Tuesday. Purchase of NABCEP workshop required to attend**.

Battery-based Systems: Sizing, Selection, Installation & Charging | Presented by: Steve Higgins
Proper system sizing, battery selection, installation & charging parameters for Flooded, AGM & GEL deep cycle batteries.

Session 2 | 9:45am – 11:15am:
Financial Modeling | Presented by: Canute Haroldson
This training will focus on the design of high-performance solar arrays and appropriate financial models using HelioScope, with Q&A for live questions about advanced modeling techniques.

Session 3 | 12:30pm – 2:00pm:
Structural Solutions for Solar on Flat Roofs: Ballasted, Attached or Hybrid | Presented by: Jon Haeme

Session 4 | 2:30pm – 4:00pm:
Solar Attachments: Codes, Standards & Best Practices | Presented by: Stephen Lemrond
An overview of solar attachments products available in the market and a technical review of product application and code compliance.

*Sessions 5 & 6 will take place on Tuesday, February 4th.
