Keynote- Utility Solar Programs: A Holistic Approach to Equity, Affordability, Sustainability, and Resiliency

Utility solar programs have been in existence for 30+ years.  The challenge of today’s modern solar programs is to balance equity, affordability, sustainability and resiliency.  Now is the time to advocate for a new approach that takes a holistic view of all of these to develop and deploy new utility models that balance all of these needs.  Austin Energy is launching two new solar initiatives, each of which holds the promise to potentially be new paths and models for utilities regionally or nationally.
