Intersolar and Energy Storage North America (IESNA) is proud to partner with the Solar Energy Manufacturers for America (SEMA) Coalition, a group of solar manufacturers united to rebuild a competitive, environmentally friendly, and socially responsible U.S. solar supply chain. With over 12,000 workers represented across its member companies, SEMA is leveraging opportunities from the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) to strengthen domestic solar manufacturing and energy independence.
Together, IESNA and SEMA are presenting two insightful sessions to showcase these advancements and foster collaboration across the solar industry at the 2025 flagship event: “Solar Manufacturing in 2030: What the Future Looks Like” and “Domestic Solar Supply Chain: Outlook, Benefits & Incentives.”
The future of domestic solar manufacturing, with a focus on how macroeconomic factors like supply chain dynamics and workforce development, combined with policy drivers such as the Inflation Reduction Act, are shaping the industry. Panelists will examine strategies for establishing the U.S. as a global leader in solar manufacturing while addressing the shared goals of manufacturers and end users for a resilient, scalable, and innovative supply chain.
An analysis of secure supply chains, why investing in domestic production is vital, and how those investments will ultimately benefit the industry as a whole. Topics will span the federal policy outlook for 2025, including finalized IRA tax credit guidance, anticipated impacts of the new administration, possible modifications of IRA incentives, and trade policy.
