Energy Toolbase has added a new feature to its ETB Developer product, allowing users to model grid services and utility bill savings – a first for the commercial and industrial solar and energy storage modeling landscape.
The co-optimization feature is now available to all ETB Developer subscribers and enables unprecedented control over the financial performance of solar and storage projects.
The new feature builds upon Energy Toolbase’s advanced modeling technology, providing access to rapid forecasting and its vast utility rates database.
“At Energy Toolbase, we are constantly pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with C&I solar and energy storage modeling,” said Nathan Gutzmann, Product Manager of Acumen EMS™ at Energy Toolbase, in a statement. “Our co-optimization feature has the potential to transform project economics, turning marginal projects into economically attractive investments and empowering our customers to capitalize on new opportunities.”
While the initial launch focuses on Demand Side Grid Support (DSGS) in California, the company plans to expand the range of supported grid services for customers throughout the U.S.
Energy Toolbase is currently offering a free trial and will host a training webinar on April 10, 2024.
