Electric Era, an end-to-end EV charging solutions provider, has deployed its fast-charging station with Costco Wholesale Corporation in an industry first with a mere seven weeks between contract signature and station launch.
Costco sought out Electric Era to develop a rapid deployment solution for its Ridgefield, Washington store. It needed to meet local requirements, high standards for member experience, and most importantly — tight deadlines — so its new warehouse could open on time.
Electric Era’s patented technology and six-times quicker deployment speed was put to the test and proved itself successful. The company managed the process and delivered a comprehensive EV charging solution in record time while integrating software to manage energy costs effectively.
The project and its urgency highlight a significant shift in American EV charging infrastructure: it’s no longer a novelty, but an essential business objective.
“With our unique, patented software we address the reliability challenges that are faced by other traditional EV chargers. Electric Era directly addresses Costco’s demands for rapid charging station installation and a customer experience that furthers their retail experience and value,” said Quincy Lee, CEO of Electric Era, in a statement. “This installation exemplifies how Electric Era delivers on unsurpassed deployment and install speed, ultimately providing Costco a fast charging solution to meet its growing members’ needs.”
