This session will provide a detailed understanding of DC and AC coupled residential storage solutions.  The presentation will include details of the PT-100 charge controller as well as an introduction to our new Advanced Router remote control, ME-ARTR.  The session will involve sizing and designing for applications using our storage ready MicroGT and retrofitting existing grid tied PV applications with storage for essential loads backup power.  The session will also encompass battery selection and sizing for various scenarios.

QF Energy: B3 Bypass: Avoiding Main Service Panel Upgrades

No one likes to do main panel upgrades. They are time consuming, require a permit, are a hassle for homeowners and they are expensive, which can often cause customers to cancel PV or battery installations.  Now you can avoid main service panel upgrades with the B3 Bypass. The NEC 705.12 (B), 120% rule, limits the amount of power production sources (PV, batteries, generators) that can be connected to a main panel. In this session, you will learn about the highly innovative B3 Bypass, which is the first and only UL certified over current device that doesn’t connect to the load center busbar. When using the B3 Bypass you are no longer limited by the NEC 120% restriction.
