How and where can I register to visit the exhibition or attend the conference?
Visitor registration for the Intersolar North America exhibition is now open.
The conference program registration will start in April.
What does an exhibition ticket cost? Is it valid for the entire three-day event?
Visitor registration for both Intersolar North America and SEMICON West visitors is now open and is FREE of charge until April 12. The entrance ticket is valid for the entire exhibition (July 10 - 12, 2012).

For which accompanying events is the ticket valid?
The exhibition tickets are valid for the entrance into all exhibition halls of Moscone Center (Intersolar North America in West/North Hall; SEMICON West in South/North Hall). In addition, the tickets allow free entrance to all Intersolar accompanying programs located in West and North Hall, including: the Innovation Exchange, the Practical Point, the Intersolar AWARD for projects in North America ceremony and further special exhibits.
Is there separate visitor registration for Intersolar North America and SEMICON West?
Intersolar North America and SEMICON West visitors have access to both exhibitions and do NOT need to individually register for each event. Visitor registration desks are available in the lobbies of West Hall, North and South Hall of Moscone Center.
Can I register for the exhibition on-site?
There are registration desks in Moscone West and North Hall. An on-site registration comes at a charge of US $150.
Where and when do I pick up my exhibition badge?
Badges need to be picked up at the registration desks in the lobbies of West and North Hall of Moscone Center. Conference attendees need to pick up their badge at the Level 3 of the InterContinental Hotel. Badge pick-up begins on Monday, July 09. Badges are NOT being mailed.
When is the final date for online registration?
Online visitor registration is officially open until Sunday, July 08. Up to this date we can guarantee that your badges will be processed and waiting for you on-site at badge pickup stations in Moscone West and North. On-site registration will remain available for new registration.

In 2012, an expected 950 exhibitors from all over the world are presenting their products and innovations across Moscone West and North.

Who are Intersolar's trade visitors?
Intersolar features a diverse group of trade visitors and is specifically known for its internationality. In 2011, Intersolar North America featured about 20,000 trade visitors from nearly 80 countries.
Trade visitors include: solar professionals, installers and integrators, manufacturers and suppliers, distributors, architects and project developers, investors and financial institutions, state and regional economic councils, analysts, utilities representatives and government official/policymakers and many more from the solar industry.
Is there a specific day or time for the general public to attend?
Because Intersolar North America is strictly a business-to-business solar event, we do not offer a specific day or time for the general public to attend. However, we do not discourage interested members outside of the solar industry from coming to the show to see all of the new and exciting technology on display.
Where can I find a list of visitor programs?
Each visitor program has its own webpage located under Programs. You will also be able to find program descriptions and relating information in the Event Directory and Programs Guide on-site.
How do I register for visitor programs?
If an accompanying event (e.g. conference sessions, solar summerfest) requires registration, you will be able to register for this event within the program selection section of the visitor registration portal beginning in April.
What is the Innovation Exchange?
Intersolar’s free Innovation Exchange presentations provide insight into current trends and new products in the international solar industry. Exhibitors present
their innovations through 30-minute presentations,offering visitors a compact and informative overview of the company’s latest developments, and a forum
for questions and stimulating discussions. eating is first-come, first-served, so we recommend arriving 5-10 minutes early.
What is the Intersolar AWARD?
Intersolar strives to promote the industry’s power to innovate. To this end, the Intersolar AWARD, the award for innovation in the international solar industry, is presented each year. The Intersolar AWARD has established itself as the industry’s flagship and draws worldwide public attention to nominees and winners.
Can Intersolar help me obtain a visa to enter the U.S. for the event?
Intersolar writes invitation letters on behalf of exhibition visitors with an explanation of the travel reasons. You have the opportunity to request the letter directly through Intersolar's visitor registration portal or through our website.
The Visa Application Form must be completed for each attending member of your delegation. The letter(s) will then be sent to you in PDF for format including your visa application package.
Does Intersolar North America offer discounted Airfare?
As Intersolar's airline partner, Lufthansa offers special prices and conditions to participants, visitors, exhibitors and invited guests as well as employees of the Contracting Partner and their travel companions.
Does Intersolar North America provide discounted visitor housing?
Intersolar North America, together with housing partner CMR, has put together an extensive contingent of hotels and room blocks to accommodate visitor housing requests. Rooms are available in all price ranges and for all budgets. Intersolar negotiates the lowest possible rates with its preferred hotels. In addition to the reduced rates, many of the hotels offer complimentary high-speed Internet connection, health club access, coffee and tea and breakfast. How can I get to the event from San Francisco International Airport?
There are several ways to get to the Moscone West Convention Center area from the SFO International. Whether by the local train service, BART, taking a taxi or renting a car, you will always be able to reach downtown San Francisco easily.
